About Christine

I'm passionate about helping elementary and middle school students unlock their full potential. With 30 years of teaching experience, I strive to build confidence and foster a love for learning. I assess student skills and personalize a program to help them progress in the area(s) needing assistance. By actively listening and observing, I vary my teaching strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment when a concept clicks is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I have a teaching degree, and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I would love to help your child succeed!
