I'm a PhD student at UC Irvine with top honors since undergrad (BA'21 UCI). I'm trilingual, with professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and native fluency in English and Korean. I grew up in between Seoul, Korea and the East Coast (elite boarding school), before I moved to sunny CA for college, nice weather, and good Asian food! I have a long personal history working with people with disabilities, and study Deaf culture and language now as a PhD student. My PhD research, very briefly put, is about how people with different needs make things more accessible (ex. aftermarket modifying VR equipment and 3D coding to use sign language online).
