About Christin

I have worked with children most of my life, and I love it! Perhaps partly because I am so familiar with it, but mostly because I believe children are such a special gift. I am the oldest of 6 children in my own family, so I spent a lot of time being co-caretaker growing up. I spent a number of years working in after school programs, childrens summer camps and day-cares, taught kindergarten, and have extensive adminsitrative assisting experience. I have both a Bachelors and a Masters degree, which I received in Florida. I have worked in retail, banking, management, housekeeping, private school administration, finance, and social work. I have experience within the special education field and believe that brings added value to my experience in childcare. I have two children of my own (5 & 7) and therefore bring a parental perspective, experience and compassion in my interactions and care.
