Highly skilled, 24 years experience. Good at connecting with patients and picking up routines. Started as a CNA in a Nursing Home for 3 years. Worked with long term and rehabilitation patients. Gained experience working with all ages and ailments. For 13yrs I fully cared for an elderly gentleman who continued to show improvement from his stroke. Managed 24/7 care and provided a safe, active and happy environment. I've had 3 different clients the past 8 years with Alzheimer's. Along with care, I managed the home, and appointments. Two of them passed peacefully at home from natural causes and I helped with hospice care. The most recent client had to move to memory care for 24/7. I have also helped family members and clients through cancer treatments, hospice care, illnesses, and health care advocate.
