About Christina

I'd describe my personality as committed, enthusiastic, and nurturing I began working with children at age 12 through babysitting for family and neighbors. I expanded into volunteering, including summer camps, serving as a nursery teacher at my church, and filling in as a substitute Sunday School teacher. I have also volunteered in the Eugene 4J school district, where I supported student learning through classroom assistance and the SMART reading program. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, knit, cook, and bake. ( I never grew out of loving arts and crafts!) One thing you should know about me is that I bring a genuine love for working with children to every role. Much of my experience has come through volunteering, babysitting for family friends, and student teaching, which has given me the chance to develop patience, creativity, and flexibility. I'm also a quick learner, and take pride in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive.
