I have been in the healthcare field for nearly 25 years and the past 8 years in long term care. I was a Case Manager for a Home Health Care Company, administration for Brookdale Senior Living and assisted with fitness & activities. I have worked in the dementia care unit for Life Care Centers of America. I now enjoy working in clients' homes to promote a preventive lifestyle, improve quality of life and help them regain some level of independence. I also teach strength and balance classes for seniors at several gyms, Brookdale Senior Living and Holiday Retirement, as well as provide small group training. I am a huge advocate of helping clients age in place safely with strength and improve quality of life, all in an effort to stay out of hospitals, rehabs, skilled nursing, etc.
