About Christina

Since I was old enough to walk and talk, I was taking care of younger children. With a big family, there were always little ones around, and childcare skills to be gained. I enjoy one-on-one tutoring or nannying, and assisting with up to six children 24 hours a day. I've always been committed to service and education, tutoring younger students from elementary school onward, including juvenile detainees while in college. I am fluent in written and spoken Spanish and can code switch with children who speak or are learning the language. I have experience tutoring 5th grade math, reading and science. I am a bookworm and have many accents with which to read books. I can be silly and playful, or a disciplinarian when homework - or chores, or company - are involved. I also adore housework and have a great attitude when it comes to cleaning. Most of all, I am kind and caring and treat children with respect so they can become confident, strong, self-actualized adults.
