I have been working with children for 15 years. I have been a nanny for 3 years. I have plenty of experience working with babies, toddlers and school aged kids. What I love about working with children is watching how they interact and understand the world around them. I love teaching them new things and telling them how things work. It's rewarding to watch them learn, grow and say some very silly things. I have been CPR and First Aid certified many times through past daycare jobs that I have had as well as being a former lifeguard. I went to UOC for 2 years for Psychology. I had to drop out to care for my grandmother that had suffered a major stroke so my degree is incomplete. I also have experience with caring for elders and have a great deal of patience and care.

Christina provided warm, attentive care for our son. She genuinely cared about him, engaged him well, and built a sweet bond — he always looked forward to seeing her. However, the way the employment ended was disappointing. We had clearly discussed wanting a long-term nanny and the importance of open communication if either side ever felt the position was no longer the right fit. We also had a positive check-in before expanding her schedule, during which she said everything was going well. Shortly after, she resigned via text with no notice period, no real explanation, and didn't respond to follow-up questions — leaving us without childcare and no time to transition. She's great with the baby, but families prioritizing long-term commitment and professional notice should discuss those expectations before hiring.
