About Christie

I am a parent who homeschools our 15-year-old son. I was formerly a Sunday School Teacher & Nursery Coordinator at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church & Activity Director/Teacher for Americorps Vista Summer program for underprivileged youth. More recently, I was a teaching assistant at Central Elementary in a pre-kindergarten class designed for children with disabilities. Another position that speaks to childcare in an alternative regard is that I was Activities Coordinator at a skilled nursing facility. There are a number of cross-over communication methods and activity management skills used for both pediatric and geriatric needs. I am highly organized and refuse to be distracted while caring for dependents. I am a non-smoker, but I am highly organized and efficient about my caregiving responsibilities.
