Hi there, I'm Christie and i'm from Ridgewood, Queens! I have 14 years of experience with children beginning in July 2011 as a camp counselor & independent babysitter. I have experience with looking after children ranging from the age of 1, up until 14. Side experience would be; being surrounded by a large family with many kids! I can help with Light Housekeeping, Homework, Online assessments, Snacks and themed Crafts (ex: Holidays, Birthdays & etc).

What can I say about Christie? She has been watching my son (sometimes with very little notice) for about 2 and a half years now and he adores the time he gets to spend with her. Christie is genuine and cares about people more than anyone in NYC should still be capable of and having her in our lives has given us back some adult autonomy I didn't think we would ever be able to expect without having to take a risk at our child's expense. We are very grateful for her and highly recommend her services to any friends that likewise need a little date night or have a work conference that can't be rescheduled.

Hi! Christie has been with us 2 days a week for a year and a half. She is always on time, great communicator, and follows a plan & schedule well. She has always been flexible as I started with her being a first time mom. She is easy to talk to & always had a smile on her face with good energy coming into our home. 

Christie has been a great Babysitter for my now 5 year old and 9 year old daughters. They love whenever she watches them and enjoy her company. I would recommend Christie to watch any kids she is a friendly and a punctual person.

Christie has been such a babysitter and she has become part of our family. She is responsible, punctual, great at communicating, and she definitely loves kids. My child quickly got close with Christie because of your caring personality. I would 100% recommend her for anyone that is looking for a responsible, caring, and genuine babysitter. Christie was an absolute angel for us this week. Both my husband and my work demands were high this week so we needed a babysitter at ad hoc hours. Christie demonstrated this flexibility with enthusiasm and care. She is responsive, responsible, fun and engaging. She tidied after our two year old son, fed and bathed him and read him books. Christie was awesome!  She cared for my 20-month old daughter one evening. I was worried because I had never left her with a sitter before.  I didn't think she'd be able to put her to bed because my daughter is still nursing and I'm the only one who has ever put her down to bed, but she did it!  Christie texted me with pictures and updates and she even stayed later than was planned.  My daughter didn't cry at all. Christie fed her dinner, read her books, changed her, etc.  She also fed my cats. :). I would definitely hire her again, and have already booked another babysitting job with her.

We are from California and staying in Brooklyn for the summer-- so we needed a babysitter to watch the kids for our date night. We FaceTimed her after seeing her profile and immediately got a good vibe from her. 

She watched our 3 boys from 8pm-4am while my hubby and went to a concert. She arrived on time and the boys immediately felt comfortable around her. When we got home, we were pleasantly surprised that she had even cleaned our home a bit. Christie is our go to whenever we are in town from now on.

Christie was great with my two young kids and managed indoor and outdoor activities to keep them happy. She was punctual on the two days I requested her services and paid attention to the details I provided around their schedules.

Christie was WONDERFUL. She came early to come watch my 2 year old daughter for the evening in Brooklyn. It was an incredibly overwhelming day and very chaotic, but Christie came in and saved the day! I would 100000,% hire her again.

Christie was amazing with my girls and they have asked me several times when she's coming back to babysit again. She really engaged with them by doing art and play time as well as cleaned up everything spotless. My girls love her and I would recommend her to anyone.

She was very reliable and responsible and also very generous and sweet. She went out of her way to bring crafts and art supplies for my daughter. She also took the initiative to clean up without being asked which is wonderful. She was already recommended to a friend of mine who used her and was equally as happy.

My kids felt comfortable with her and she arrived on time. I was able to take a much needed break.
