About Christie

I worked for a family for 2. 5 years with middle aged twins who had developmental disabilities. Cognitively, they were about 5 years old. The family stressed the need for social interaction and, I and another aid, planned their day with lots of games, crafts, and social outings. Tragically, the twins recently passed away within two months of each other. I have always loved children. Although I have a great deal of experience with adults with developmental disabilities and the elderly, I want to parlay the experience I gained with the twins and focus on working with children.
