About Marissa

With over five years of teaching experience in elementary and online settings, I've worked with children across a wide range of ages and abilities. I am currently a full-time teacher in a small-town, rural elementary school in CT. I also design and teach online social-emotional learning (SEL) courses for children worldwide. My expertise in SEL ensures that I can help children navigate their emotions, build confidence, and thrive socially. In addition to teaching, I have extensive experience babysitting children of all ages. I love creating meaningful connections with kids and tailoring activities to their interests and developmental needs, whether it's reading, doing crafts, or exploring fun, hands-on learning opportunities. I also bring strong technology skills, which can be especially helpful for homework help or educational games. My goal as a babysitter is to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children feel valued and supported!
