About Christa

Empowering young learners to think critically and solve problems is at the heart of my teaching approach. With one year of experience supporting elementary students in English, Science, and Art, I focus on building a collaborative environment where every child feels heard. I assess individual learning styles through open communication, ensuring my methods align with what works best for your student. To keep lessons engaging, I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement, even when concepts become challenging. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally grasps a difficult idea is the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to provide support at your home, my home, or the local library. I hold a college degree and maintain current CPR training and First Aid certification. I look forward to helping your child grow into a confident, independent learner.
