About Chloe

Tutoring has played a major role in my personal and professional growth, strengthening my compassion, responsibility, and adaptability. I have worked with diverse age groups, including providing paid math tutoring to a fourth-grade student in a home setting, where I learned to engage younger learners with patience and creativity. I also volunteered in my high school's Innovate program, a project-based learning environment that emphasized hands-on education and diverse learning styles, where I supported math through the ALEKS program and gained experience with individualized instruction. Additionally, I assisted 7th and 8th grade math classrooms at Lemon Grove Middle Academy, helping students build confidence and understanding. Currently, I am an intern with the Prison Arts Collective at SDSU, where I design lesson plans that foster safe, supportive learning environments. I am also studying Spanish at SDSU and have reached a conversational level, allowing me to support beginners.
