About Cheryl

Hello, I am a mature, married, cheerful mother of four adult children, grandmother of three. I studied at the University of Maryland and St. Johns River State College having earned 66 credits in total. I was a stay at home mom for 15 years. My working career was mostly in a support role having worked for Congress, International organizations, the 3rd largest container shipping company in the world, Florida State Attorneys Office, and as an ESE Paraeducator in St Johns County Florida which I found to be most rewarding. As an ESE Paraeducator I was able to assist the first grade student by teaching math concepts, encouraging the student in reading on a higher level and contributing to his progress in verbal communication. It is so energizing to me when I see a child make even the smallest of steps at learning.
