About Chelsea
I am currently a stay-at-home mom to a silly, loving, energetic, and curious 20-month-old boy, and a little girl on the way! Our family has been in Bend for 4 years and we love the community and outdoor access here. Currently looking to help families out in senior care, babysitting, or pet sitting during the summer months! Though I have not done professional senior care before, I have many credentials and transferable skills from my career in education. I am a licensed elementary teacher in OR and have spent most of my 12+ year education career in early childhood education (about 6 years as a pre-k teacher, 1. 5 years in elementary, and about 4 years years in special ed at the high school level). I have also nannied/tutored and provided job coaching and 1:1 personal care to a young adult with special needs. I am CPR/first aid certified and I have exceptional patience, compassion, and understanding of individuals' strengths and struggles.
