About Chelsea

Hi, I'm Chelsea. I have over 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages and abilities, including work as a lead teacher, paraprofessional, and STEAM-focused afterschool instructor. I enjoy creating hands-on activities like simple science projects, art, reading, and outdoor play. I take a calm and patient approach and focus on helping children feel safe, supported, and confident. I also have experience working with children with special needs and adapt my care to fit each child's needs. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified for all ages and currently working toward my CDA. Families describe me as reliable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping, simple cooking, local errands, and pet care.
