About Chelsea

Chelsea taught preschool in Manhattan and Chicago for 8 years, creating open-ended provocations for her students, where they explored water, light, sand, mud and even snow, developing executive function and communication skills through play. Chelsea values family involvement and parent relationships as critical to development-and enjoys working closely with primary caregivers. Chelsea has a Dual degree from NYU in early childhood ed and special ed, and a background in progressive education, specifically the Reggio E. approach. Guided by emotionally-responsive practice, Chelsea encourages young children to be imaginative, thoughtful members of our larger community.
