I worked as a peer tutor in high school and college. After returning home and starting my career as an educator, I continued to tutor students who needed additional help. I have had great success in both math and reading with students going on to become successful college students and working adults. I'm currently tutoring a very shy student who was struggling in math. I have since built their confidence and helped them become more successful. I prefer tutoring students in their home so that they feel more confident but I'm open to working from a local library or similar quiet location or park.
