About Charlie

Hello! My name is Charlie , I'm a rising senior attending University majoring in psychology. I focus on child development in my education, and currently work as a research assistant at a lab that studies the development of child cognition. I spent two years working as an overnight counselor in New Hampshire, where I lived in-cabin with 10 campers (ages 9-12) and directed a variety of activities. When I'm home from school, I care for my brother who is wheelchair bound and hard-of-hearing (and a total blast to be around). From these experiences I have learned how to care for kids with a variety of needs and personalities. I'm patient, approachable and understanding, and I pride myself on being able to foster creative and supportive play and learning environments. I'm comfortable enforcing house rules, preparing meals, taking care of the house, and running errands.
