I am a 2018 graduate of Connecticut College, where I majored in theater and minored in psychology (with a healthy dose of human development courses sprinkled in). For the past three years, I nannied for a wonderful 4-year-old girl (who was 1 when I started!) but with her starting preschool full time this pas fall, my time with her sadly came to an end. In addition, I have experience caring for 5-7-year-olds from my time at Wellesley Town Camp and have cared for children as young as 6 months. That being said, I love children of all ages and the feelings have always been reciprocated (shy children especially tend to really open up to me - probably because I was such a shy guy myself for a while!) Other than that, I've lived in Weston most of my life but will be moving to Porter Square in Somerville beginning of September! I have many references for my responsibility when it comes to caring for children who would be more than happy to talk to you about my qualifications as well.

Charlie has been an excellent caregiver for our 3 year old daughter for almost 3 years. He is reliable and punctual and always communicates far in advance if he needs to come in late or leave early. He brings high energy to play time and is outstanding at creative play. He has been thoughtful about suggesting and engaging in age appropriate games and activities for our daughter as she has grown from 1 year old to 3 years old, and is very responsive to what she likes and what she doesn't like. He has helped our daughter with developmental skills like putting on clothes, eating at the table, and potty training. He is patient and understanding in moments when our daughter is dealing with tough emotions. He is a proactive communicator and keeps my husband and I updated both by text and in person communication about how our daughter's day was, and makes sure to create time to talk whenever there's an issue that requires a longer conversation.
