About Stacey

I started babysitting my cousins when I was teenager. My dad is one of 12 children so I had plenty of experience with infants, toddlers and elementary-aged children by the time I started working towards my degree in psychology after high school. During my college years I worked as a babysitter for a family with an 18-month-old boy. I continued working with this family for years after. They also had a 15-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son and occasionally they were left in my care as well. Also, during this time period I babysat a 4-year-old girl and her 18-month-old sister. They had been adopted and had some behavioral issues, which I was totally comfortable with. During high school I volunteered in an intensive special education classroom at the elementary level and during my break from college I worked for the Quincy Public School system in many different classrooms with all age groups. Since then, I have worked with infants, toddlers and elementary-aged children for numerous families in and around the Boston area. I am comfortable with all age groups and with children who have special needs.
