About Charlene

For an ongoing 3 years, my passion for working with children comes from the meaningful connections I have built through family child care. Growing up with a gifted younger sibling (6 years old who is autistic), I have learned the importance of creating a world where every child is met with understanding, patience, and respect. This experience strengthened my ability to support children's learning that is appropriate to their individual needs, while also teaching me how to navigate challenges with greater patience and care. Working with children also brings a sense of nostalgia, which is why I approach every interaction with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to create such positive, and memorable experiences! I deeply value children's emotions and well-being, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need while respectfully following the guidance and expectations set by their guardians.
