About Charisse

Hi, I'm Charisse! My background includes supporting children and young adults with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities in both school and community settings. I specialize in English and reading instruction, offering support in phonics, comprehension, writing, and vocabulary building. I've led one-on-one and small group lessons, adapted curriculum to meet individual learning styles, and provided targeted interventions to help learners build confidence and achieve their goals. I'm equally comfortable tutoring in person or online and strive to create a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel supported and capable. If you're looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and skilled at meeting students where they are, I'd love to help.
