About Charissa

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching philosophy. With six years of experience, I specialize in helping students from elementary through high school master subjects ranging from Math and Science to Study Skills and Test Preparation. I prioritize a supportive environment where I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or real-world examples--to match your unique learning style. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment, I help build both academic skills and lasting confidence. I believe open communication with you and your family is essential to our collaborative success. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to your growth. I am comfortable with pets and truly look forward to helping you achieve your goals and discover your own path to success.
