About Chara

Hi! My name is Char, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother owned a daycare for 27 years, and I began helping out there at just 12 years old -- continuing all the way through college. I have hands-on experience with children ranging from 2 months to 7 years old, and I truly enjoy helping little ones learn, play, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. In addition to my daycare experience, I volunteered each year from high school through college at the Olympics, working with children with special needs -- an experience that taught me patience, creativity, and compassion. I believe in building confidence and truly understanding each child's unique needs to help them express themselves and grow. My goal is to create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
