About Celeste

Hello! My name's Aya. I use they them pronouns. I'm a senior in college studying early childhood education with a specific interest in place-based, nature-based, and Montessori education. I have experience with Montessori for ages 2-3 and 3-6. I appreciate Montessori for the ways it empowers kids to be active participants in routine activities and curious, observant, and caring members of their communities. I love incorporating Montessori principals and practices into my work with children, as well as spending lots of time outside, and making things together. I have experience working with animals and would be happy to pet sit, walk dogs, or provide other animal care. I will be available through the end of August and possibly again in mid December.
