About Cecilia

Since March 20, 2015, I have been the employer of Cecilia as an In-Home Caretaker for my wife who is now in the early 6th Stage (out of 7) of Alzheimer s Disease. Currently with us on a 5-day per week basis (usually for 7 or 8 hours per day), her duties include (but not limited to) bathing, dressing, toileting, maintaining continence, medications taken, walking with client and general all-day companionship. Household duties would be washing/drying soiled clothes, bed-making, meal preparation and general kitchen clean-up. I find her very caring, genuine, loving and attentive to my wife s needs and moods. And as I write this, Ceci is still on duty with us. However, my wife's health continues to decline and our family has now signed-up for Hospice Care and also made the major decision of transitioning her to an outside 24-hour "Assisted Living" facility. This last change will be implemented by us on March 8th ... thus making Cecilia's care-giving skills available now to others.
