About Cayla

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, and study skills for students ranging from elementary to college levels. I am a Certified teacher with expertise in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach centers on creating a patient, engaging environment where I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication. I keep you motivated by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to your personal interests. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to celebrating your progress and witnessing those rewarding "aha!" moments. I truly look forward to partnering with you to build your confidence and achieve your academic goals.
