About Cathryn

As a dedicated 4th-year special education teacher in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to helping students succeed. My expertise lies in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence and master essential skills. I have a strong understanding of 504 plans and IEPs, allowing me to tailor my tutoring to meet the unique needs of each student. I offer tutoring in math and reading for students up to 8th grade, covering a range of skill levels. My goal is to not only improve academic performance but also to instill a love of learning. I am well-versed in STAAR test preparation strategies and can provide targeted support to help students achieve their best results. I am committed to working closely with students and their families to create a customized learning plan that addresses individuals. Every student has the potential to succeed.
