I'd describe my personality as funny, friendly, capable I like caring for seniors because I believe seniors deserve to enjoy this time in life. It doesn't hurt that I am 65 myself. We should treat our elders with love and kindness. I cared for my mother while she was on palliative care until she passed. She also cared for seniors in Nursing homes and impressed on me what a noble cause it is. I recently moved here from NJ where I cared for a 94 yo woman with dementia. My duties included showering, light housekeeping, lunch preparation, drove to dr and hair appts. Also went out to lunch occasionally, soft serve outings trips and drives. Watched many musicals. I love to sing and the seniors do enjoy my mediocre voice. I am not currently CPR certified but intend to get that done since it appears to be a skill folks are requesting.
