I have so much personal experience with caring for seniors. My husband's grandmother was so alone all the time. She was partially blind and deaf. But she could talk up a storm. She just wanted Someone to listen to her. She would play her old records and talk about her past. Dances, friends and so many interesting stories. I would take her shopping which she loved. I helped her with cleaning and whatever else she wanted me to do. We were very close. Years later I took care of my fiiancrs mother. I lived there and when she started getting sick, I helped her with bathing, cleaning doctor appointments keeping her company. Again the things she talked about were so interesting. I also helped my mom take care of my Dad who had Alzheimer's. I helped with feeding bathing dressing and listening to him talk even though I couldn't understand him he knew what he was saying and I listened and smiled and when I put his favorite songs on he would sing. He could sing perfectly.
