About Catherine

I have over 23 years of child care experience. I would like to think that with the responsibility of filling the void in a parent's absence I have provided a safe and happy environment, that I have been a positive influence and enriched their lives as much as they have mine. Nothing feels as good as leaving for the day and having a child not want you to go. Or when you arrive after a weekend to them jumping in your arms, filling you in on their time with their families. I have been able to have fun days, while still instilling good manners and listening skills, as well as engaging them in educational and playful activities. Scheduling of playdates, outings, appts, drop off/pickups, children's food prep and cleanup of their areas are just some of what I do. I pride myself in my years of experience of working not only with children but also parents. I'm not only there to watch over the children, I'm there to help parents navigate this thing called parenting. It takes a village.
