Hello hiring families! My name is Cat and I would love to meet you! I have 15+ years experience in childcare, starting my career with the older kids when I taught 7th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. After a few years, I realized that all of the important groundwork was being laid in the early years and thus I got my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Since then I have worked in childcare centers, taught in public schools and transitioned to private childcare in 2022. I have worked with kids of all ages, from newborns to preteens, have experienced with nanny shares, multiples, twins and house management. I am up to date on all vaccines, CPR and first aid certified and am looking for a full time work!

I hired Catherine to tutor my 17 year old in AP English. My daughter was falling behind in class. She was only comprehending the material at surface level and could tell you what a book was about, but had a challenging time understanding the deeper and analytical meaning of the literature. Catherine was able to help her disect the information into more manageable chunks then apply it to the underlying meaning. I found that Catherine's method not only helped my daughter in class, but also benefitted her when she took the ACT. I'd definitely recommend Catherine as a tutor. She has the ability to stay calm and be patient, even when my 17 year old was ornery and had "better places to be."
