I go by "Pepper". I'm a trained early childhood education professional, and a Registered Behavior Technician. I currently work as a naturalistic play therapist for kids 3-6. I am comfortable and experienced caring for children with disabilities of all kinds, including AAC users and non-verbal kids. I can support potty training and I'm comfortable with older kids who use pull-ups/diapers as well. I LOVE arts and crafts, reading books, dance parties, building awesome things, kid-friendly cooking, and playing outside! I love engaging and playing with kids to make sure they are having fun, and try to avoid screentime as much as possible. I will actively engage and play with your children and not just watch them. My strengths are managing challenging behavior and fostering independence when it comes to household and self-care routines. I am completely comfortable with pets of all kinds; large dogs, rodents, reptiles, invertebrates etc! I do not smoke and I live in a smoke free home.

Catherine (Pepper) was the best babysitter we could have ever hoped for. She connected instantly with our toddler, knew how to meet her at her level, and was easily able to engage and guide her. After the first night our daughter was begging for more playtime with her. Catherine’s communication was excellent, and from the questions she asked ahead of time I knew our daughter was in good hands. I truly cannot say enough good things about her.
