About Catherine

I am a licensed midwife and have taken time off from being on call to have a bit more of a predictable schedule doing something I love. I desire to work with children again and am seeking a position with the right family. I've always had a love for children being with children and watching them grow and develop, and knowing I was part of their fostering, is the greatest reward anyone could ask for. This is what had me seek a degree in Early Childhood Education which I completed in 2011. I have extensive experience working with children and families since 2001. From babysitting, to nannying, to being a lead and assistant teacher of multiple classrooms to then helping families have their own babies and working tons with newborns. I love including music in my care with children and depending on their age I could include teaching any of the following instruments: ukulele, guitar, hand drums, and some piano. Can include some conversational Spanish and Portuguese - not fluent.
