About Catherine

Hi! I'm Catherine (Miss Cat to my students), a certified early childhood and elementary educator with a strong passion for supporting young readers. I have experience teaching kindergarten and 1st grade, and I'm currently working toward my Master's in Early Childhood Special Education. I specialize in early literacy, phonics, and foundational reading skills, and I love helping children build confidence as readers through engaging, hands-on instruction tailored to their needs. Whether your child is just beginning to learn letter sounds or needs support blending and decoding words, I bring a playful, patient, and research-based approach to tutoring.
