About Catherine

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's individual needs by actively listening and observing how they interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions. When concepts become challenging, I connect the subject matter to real-world examples that spark curiosity. I believe clear, open communication with both students and parents is essential to building a supportive, collaborative environment. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is what I find most rewarding. I look forward to partnering with your family to create a positive learning experience that helps your student thrive.
