About Cate

I recently left the corporate world of human resources and am looking forward to working in a role where I am helping others. On the personal side, I helped care for my dad until his Alzheimer's reached a point where he needed 24/7 care. I also cared for my older brother in the final weeks of his life as he was dying, which will always be one of the most sacred times of my life. I am married with two children who have different abilities, (pref'd way of saying-special needs) and a husband who is disabled but does not require round-the-clock care and we have two dogs who we all adore. I also have experience as a palliative care volunteer. I am open to providing in-home services as a caregiver as well as house cleaning or pet sitting. I love my family, laughing, and an advocate for my children and others who are often marginalized by our society. My son and I volunteer at the WI Humane Society and my daughter and I volunteer at a horse sanctuary.
