About Cate

Hi! I'm Cate, a freshman at TU majoring in Early Childhood Development. I have experience caring for my younger siblings, babysitting, and working at daycare, which has helped me build strong childcare skills. I'm caring, responsible, patient, and love creating a safe, fun environment with activities like crafts, games, and homework help. I'm reliable and excited to support your family! I like working with kids because I enjoy helping them learn and grow while making sure they feel safe and supported. It's really rewarding to see them gain confidence and have fun at the same time. I started working with kids when I was 13, helping care for my younger siblings and babysitting for children in my neighborhood. During my junior and senior year of high school, I also worked at Kiddie Academy, where I gained hands-on experience in a daycare setting and built strong childcare skills. My top three childcare skills are patience, strong communication, and creativity!
