About Praise

Hello! I'm a Biology major at Notre Dame of Maryland University. I would describe myself as kind, enthusiastic, and helpful. I love being around children and working with them. I believe that my caring nature fuels my passion for working with kids and helping them grow, this aligns with my journey towards my dream career, pediatrics. I gained experience working with kids in the Pre-K to kindergarten level during my time working at a daycare. I strengthened skills such as communication, childcare, emotional intelligence, adaptability, patience, teaching, and hygiene. Outside the daycare, I work as a peer tutor at my university, providing help to my peers facing challenging topics. I also volunteer at my church's children's section and choir. Occasionally, I babysit children of my relatives usually between the ages of 4 and 14. I enjoy being a helpful hand, and supportive person for those around me, and I look forward to every opportunity provided to do so.
