About Catalina

Hi! I'm currently working toward my bachelor's degree in Social Work, and I already have an associate degree in Pre-Nursing/Allied Health. I've spent a lot of time in school learning how to study effectively, stay organized, break down difficult material, and actually understand what I'm learning instead of just memorizing it. I'm comfortable helping with homework, studying for tests, organization, note-taking, reading and writing, and general study skills. I'm especially good at explaining things in a simpler way when something feels confusing or overwhelming. I'm patient, encouraging, and I try to make tutoring feel comfortable instead of stressful. I also understand that everyone learns differently, so I'm happy to adjust how I explain things depending on what works best for the student. My goal is not only to help someone finish an assignment, but also help them feel more confident doing it on their own.
