Over the course of a year and a half, I cared for an older woman with Parkinson's, and that experience taught me so much about what it means to be a thoughtful, reliable caregiver. I helped her with walking, bathing, cooking, and staying mentally stimulated through conversation and activities. More than just providing physical support, I learned how important it is to offer real companionship and be fully present. I'm not someone who sits on my phone or treats care as a chore, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and building trust. This experience helped me develop patience, attentiveness, and a deep respect for the people I work with. I'm fully vaccinated (including COVID), very hygiene-conscious, polite, and have my own car for transportation. I bring not just experience, but heart, and I'm confident I can bring the same level of care and commitment to others in need of support. My first language is English.
