About Cassidy

I love working with kids because it encourages me to be a lifelong learner as I experience the world alongside them. I love to share my passions and make a positive impact on their lives, all while making lasting memories and being a role model for them. Ideally, I would love to work for a family who values the educational, emotional, and physical wellbeing of their children and trusts me to do the same. I strive to use a gentle approach to childcare through redirection. I believe in teaching children through modeling to encourage their independence and make them feel confident in their decisions. In my spare time, my golden retriever and I love to explore new hiking trails, kayak, swim, and spend time outdoors. I also love to incorporate my love for nature into trying new recipes; for example, every spring I pick violets for pink lemonade, dandelions for jelly, and wild ramps for savory dishes! I also enjoy doing crafts, whether it be painting, candle-making, or jewelry-making!
