Hi! My name is Carmela and I am 22 years old! I have been working with children ages 1 - 12 for 5 years at a daycare. I also am a certified Water Safety Instructor and lifeguard and have been doing that for 7 years. I love children - spending time with them, watching them grow, and helping them develop. I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology and I am going into my last year of my graduate degree where I will be getting certified in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education. Additionally, I love animals and taking care of them too. Lastly, laundry, cooking, shopping, and driving are all things I have a lot experience in!

Our family hired Carmela and two other sitters to babysit a group of cousins (aged baby through 7 y/o) while the adults went to a wedding. Carmela was a pleasure to work with! She was professional, enthusiastic, and in her element with the kids. Carmela communicated well before the event, sent photos and was responsive during the wedding, and gave us a great recap of how things went afterwards. She came prepared with lots of toys and activities and dove right in once she arrived. I recommend Carmela and would hire her again!
