About Cassandra

It has been a blessing to be able to work in children's lives for the past 15+ years. I view my role as creating safe, loving, and respectful environments that look different for each child. A typical day with your child might include art activities, fort building, light yoga, child-directed play, making play dough or other hands on activities, games, a trip to a park or nearby adventure, homework, cooking a meal, running a bath, or story time. I am college educated and have worked with all ages from newborns to college students. My career has always been education focused- leading arts activities for 2-5-year-olds at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, teaching after-school cooking with middle schoolers, teaching gardening and design to 3-11-year-olds, as well as being a preschool teacher in a Montessori school for 2-6-year-olds. For the past four years I have been managing farms and teaching related topics at two top universities.
