About Casey

Hi! My name is Casey & I recently moved to Philadelphia. I have been caring for children for many years. When I was young, I volunteered at a preschool, babysat, nannied on weekends & summers. I have previously been an assistant preschool teacher for 2, 3, & 4-year-old classes. I was a head teacher for a 1-year-old class for 3 years, then for a 2-year-old group. In my years as a preschool teacher, I have had 10 or more children in my care at once & have had multiple experiences caring for higher functioning special needs children as well. I had the responsibility of writing & executing lesson plans & art projects that comply with strict state regulations. I know very basic baby sign language in addition to knowing many children's songs & games. I love getting to know children & helping them learn, grow & play! I enjoy cooking & the outdoors & I love pets. I am currently nannying for a 9-month-old baby girl during the weekdays & looking for occasional weekend babysitting opportunities.
