I am a social worker living in Philadelphia with years of childcare experience. I am looking for part-time babysitting work, primarily on evenings and weekends. I have several years experience caring for children in both public and private settings. In the last 5 years alone I have worked as an after-school care nanny for three families, a part-time lead preschool teacher, a daycare worker working with children 6 weeks old up to 5 years old, a full time nanny caring for a 3 month baby, 4-year-old, and 7-year-old, and a frequent babysitter and Summer camp counselor and manager. I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2014 with a bachelors degree in Human Services, where I took several childhood development courses. In May of 2017 I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with my Masters in Social Work, were I specialized in child welfare and well-being. Most importantly I am a fun babysitter, easy going, easy to communicate with, and reliable.

Katlin has been our babysitter for the last 2 years. She has done an excellent job taking care of our 2 boys, ages 6 and 10. She helps them work through their homework, prepares small snacks/meals, plays with them and takes them to their after school activities. What we really are impressed with about Katlin is how mature, responsible and well she interacts with the boys. They enjoy being around her and she makes things like doing homework and studying fun for them. She did a great job integrating a number of class studies that focus around child learning development and applying them on the job. For example, she assisted my 6 year old son with his "sight words" by using some learning techniques she learned from her recent college courses. With that said, we are confident that she will do a great job for anyone she works for and would highly recommend her.
