Hi! I'm Carter, a 25-year-old graduate student in marine science based in Santa Cruz. I've been first-responder trained for over 10 years and have extensive experience working with kids. From 2015 to 2019, I taught swim lessons to children ages 4-13, and since 2021, I've been coaching youth water polo for ages 7-18. I'm passionate about safety, learning through play, and helping kids build confidence. I'm an active and outdoorsy person (I recently completed my first Ironman!) and I love exploring nature, beaches, and parks-something I hope to share with the families I work with.
