About Carrissa

I'd describe my personality as fun, creative, reliable. I like caring for seniors because they have the best stories, they deserve the highest respect and the most compassionate care available. I believe that aging in place if it can be offered is the best alternative to having to go into a nursing community. It's generally safer for the individual and keeps them close to family and the home they feel most comfortable in. I started caring for seniors when my grandparents began to need extra help with daily living activities, I have worked with children, adults and seniors. In my spare time, I like to go hiking or paddle boarding with my family. I love farmers markets, art, and multiple music genres. I enjoy crafting and cooking as well! One thing you should know about me is I have a huge heart and I believe in meeting people where they are and supporting them based on their goals, hobbies and needs.
